Kelly Eickenberg
I felt a call to missions shortly after I committed my life to Christ as a young adult. Since that time, I have participated on many short-term mission trips, served on my church’s missions committee, and started a missions support group to help care for the emotional and spiritual needs of missionaries. I also taught English and math in China for a year.
For many years, family obligations prevented me from serving full-time overseas. I began to think that my role in missions would only be serving other missionaries in a supporting role.
But God had other plans for me! After working 15 years in corporate America and 10 years at my home church, during which time God was preparing me for things to come, my opportunity finally came.
I arrived in Cambodia April 2016 and began working as a computer teacher, financial administrator, and then the Country Director for an organization that ran homes of refuge for kids at risk of being trafficked in Takeo Province. When that assignment was completed I joined the Extreme Love family in January 2022.
I have a heart for the underprivileged, and love to mentor and disciple young women. I also like to educate people about finances, biblical stewardship, and planning. I am excited about providing people with self-sufficiency opportunities via micro loans when appropriate. Through all these things I get to be involved in helping protect young people from human trafficking!
It is an honor and privilege to be serving here in Cambodia. Thank you for partnering with me.
