A New Season of Prosperity for Cambodia

by Jun 10, 2018Missions

In the next few years, Cambodia will be a place that will rise from poverty to prosperity.

Two years ago as my feet landed on Cambodian land for the very first time, God immediately showed me what Cambodia will be. I actually saw it rise as all the darkness lifted off and His light came in. All that was taken from this beautiful place will not only be restored, but it will be renewed. Cambodia will be no longer be vulnerable to the works of the enemy. It will be a country that stands strong on its own and will become one of the most prosperous lands of our time.

Deuteronomy 28:12 – “The Lord will open to you his good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

God showed me the heart of Cambodia. Love is the heart of Cambodia. Through God’s love for this land and His people, we will see this country rise.

I believe He has already started to raise the little ones there as leaders to the new Cambodia. This younger generation may seem hidden now, but in the blink of an eye, they will rise like a mighty army and take back what rightfully belongs to them. I can see the smiles and joy that will override this nation.

Some of us have been given an opportunity to actually go to Cambodia and see how God is raising this nation. We are able to teach, love, and hug the beautiful people of Cambodia. Others may not go to there, but that doesn’t mean you cannot be a part of this great uprising. I encourage you to pray and ask God what your position is to be a part of strengthening this great country. Whether it’s praying, visiting, sponsoring a child or financing in different areas. I know there is a place for everyone to get involved. When we all join together in our nation, then other nations will change.

My two-year transition back and forth to Cambodia has been completed. I have done exactly what God has instructed me to do. He said after my transition of 24 months, He would then tell me the next step. Well, June is here and my two years of transition has been completed. I eagerly await His instruction. I am filled with excitement on how He will use me for the Land that has grabbed my heart. Over two years ago, I knew nothing about Cambodia or even where it was. By just saying yes to what God has asked me to do, I am now part of Cambodia and it is definitely part of me.

Be blessed in whatever journey God puts you to and remember to keep your ear close to His heart.

Isaiah 32:17-18 “And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness, and trust forever. My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”
