In Romans 8:14, it says “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God these are the Sons of God.”  Then in 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” 

“I have a dream” – .That was the name of a musical that we seniors just produced and brought forth. And it is very timely for many of us, particularly for me because I do have a dream. I see that the Lord of Glory is raising up sons of God to do His work on the earth today.

Oh yes, there have been many that did mighty exploits for the Lord over the centuries since Christ paid the price for us to be His sons. But I have a dream to see a whole group of people on the earth today who will answer this call.

We are wanting to see the world evangelized and taken for Jesus. In order to see this come to pass, we must become all that He planned for us to be. He gave us His authority and showed us how to live as true sons (and this does not just include men). In Christ, there is no longer gender, just children of God or “sons of God.”

I dream of a people who will go into a nation and see miracles, signs, and wonders on a daily basis; the dead raised to life again both physically and spiritually, blind eyes open, deaf ears unstopped, the lame walking, and many other signs and wonders. We see that even Peter’s shadow healed people as he walked by. We see that the sons of God in the book of Acts did many things. But, I want to submit to you that this was just the beginning of the church.

Now, we are living in the age when I believe God is looking for those who will rise up to be those “sons” that the scriptures talk about. They will be the ones who will bring whole villages to the Lord! They will be the ones who will be able to calm life threatening storms, tornadoes, tsunamis, hurricanes and other natural disasters that are sure signs of the whole earth groaning for the revealing of the sons of God.

Jesus has the authority, so we do too. They will be the ones who will be able to pray and have the authority to wipe out things like cancer, ebola, aids and other plagues that are taking the lives of people. They are the ones who will see finances grow in supernatural ways, who will be able to finance things like food, shelter, water, and clothing for all of God’s children who are suffering in these ways.

You see, this is what will bring in the great and final harvest. This kind of demonstration will get the attention of the whole world. When you know who you are and the authority that you have, you will be able to eradicate those things in darkness that have defied good people for the ages. Poverty, human trafficking, crime, drugs, prostitution, murder, rape, and all of the things done in darkness will not be able to stand when the sons of God are revealed!

Now, you may be thinking that this is just a pipe dream for that time when we are transferred into heaven. I want to submit to you that you can be transferred into heaven anytime you want!

These, my friends are the world changers that I believe God is looking for today. There are those champions that have paved the way for us, beginning with Jesus Christ Himself, the chief cornerstone. There are those saints of the bible that we can follow. Paul said “follow me as I follow Jesus.” And there are many others. If you look in the book of Hebrews 11, you can find a whole hall of fame of those that have gone before to prepare the way.

Oh, it is not something glib or easy that I suggest to you today, but something that will take everything you are and everything you do. You are no longer your own, but are bought with a price. Will you become a world changer? Will you go today?

Just as Isaiah said when he saw the Lord in Isaiah 6:8  “Also, I heard the voice of the Lord saying:  Whom shall I send,  And who will go for Us?”  Then I said, “Here am I !  Send me:”

How many will say with the prophet, “Here am I Lord, send me!”
