Children Unlocking Heaven on Earth

by Jan 17, 2017Missions

At XP Missions – Cambodia, one of our projects is a house of prayer for children in the middle of the slums. We call it our Kids Justice House of Prayer. In a tiny room with only a few fans, children come three times per week to grow in intimate relationship with Holy Spirit. They are learning to know their Shephard’s voice, to know their authority in Christ as a child of God, and to know how to decree the word of God in prayer! The stories that come out of our KJHP are wild! I’ve handpicked a couple of these stories from the past week to spark your heart towards hunger and love. May we be like children!

“Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven,” -Matthew 18:3

Some dear friends of mine came from America to serve here in Cambodia this month. They taught on talking with and hearing God. We did a listening to God exercise and one little boy saw a picture of Jesus coming to earth on a white horse! We asked him if he’d read that in the Bible and he had no idea that what he had seen was Biblical! We had one of the little girls read Rev. 19:11 in Khmer, “Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war,” and the little boy started pounding his chest and yelling in victory! How powerful is our victorious Jesus!

On a separate occasion, my friend John Boyer, the director of KJHOP, taught on having access to keys from Heaven that allow us to unlock Heaven on earth through prayer. Every child was given a key and they were sent to unlock padlocks of healing, justice, hearing & receiving from God, nations, and family. In the middle of the slums, in a third world country, children are unlocking Heaven on earth!

Cambodia is on the brink of revival. The harvest is laid out as far as the eye can see. We are living and breathing in open heavens in the midst of the darkness. Most churches in the villages are made up of children and teenagers being that 52% of the population is under the age of 24. Children here are having visions and dreams of Jesus, hearing his voice, seeing angels, praying for the sick, casting out demons, and preaching. We believe that children play a major role in the coming revival prophesied over Cambodia. It is our great privilege to not only partner with Heaven in releasing sonship and identity but also receiving from the children of this land. We are learning so much about posturing our own hearts as sons and daughters before our Father.

We are beyond grateful for what God has done in the first year of KJHP but words cannot begin to describe the excitement we feel over what He’s about to do in and through the children in Cambodia!
