“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty, he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing..” Zephaniah 3:17
Recently the world was captivated as 13 young men were rescued from seemingly impossible circumstances. Trapped in a cave flooded with freezing water, and lost to the world, the situation was dire. As the nations united, sending in an international search and rescue team, not only were they located, but the young men were saved and reunited with their families.
This is an anthem that is being released across the earth. It is a song that releases a rhythm with vibrations that bring deliverance. We are seeing this rhythm manifest and transform hopeless situations. The reality and glory of Zephaniah 3:17 as the Lord our God rejoices over us with joyful singing bringing strength to the weak. It is the very type of deliverance song that causes the weary to say “I am strong” for it it is the Lord our God’s joy that brings strength.
“Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!” Rev. 15:3
This is the season of rescue and of great deliverance. When all hope is gone, God our deliverer is doing exactly what is described in 2 Samuel 17-18. He sent from on high, he took me, he drew me out of many waters, he rescued me from my strong enemy, fromm those who hated me for they were too mighty for me. God is sending in the rescuers, the ones that have been trained for “such a time as this”. The far-off ones, the lost ones in dire situations are receiving their rescue. Just as the world rejoiced for the 13 lost young men in a dangerously flooded cave, so is there much rejoicing now and in the days to come as many are receiving their miracle rescues. God, our deliverer is breaking through with hope, strength, and songs of deliverance.
