Teaching the children from nation to nation has always been a desire of my heart. I see time and time again in spirit that the leaders and nation changers are being raised now. I know that I have actually met and mentored some of these young people that are being prepared for their position to change the nations. These children have no borders, as they will be going worldwide with the heart of Jesus. Their servant’s hearts are in the “get ready” phase.

To enter into the callings of their lives, these children must first realize fully who they are and how to use their gifts that God has given them. This is the area that I have been called to serve in. Teach the youth, and watch them react to the exploration of their identity in Christ and then taking it to the world.

Recently I have had several opportunities to teach children that they are a 3 part being. Most of the children understood the body and spirit part of the 3 parts, however the soul part was unknown to them. They new the word “soul” but the meaning and purpose of our souls were still left undiscovered. Personally I found it very interesting that this was the same nationally as well as internationally. When I prayed about this I received this word “It is time to raise up the leaders but first they must know both their inner and outer strength”.

Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

When I began using age appropriate methods of teaching the youth about the 3 parts being, I actually saw light come on them as I began soul teaching.  I explained how when we are hurt in any way not only is our body affected but also is our soul; I explained to them what happens when our soul feels sad and also when our soul is happy. Then over a period of time we reviewed how to recognize when we were getting hurt in our soul and how to quickly get rid of that hurt and replace it with love and forgiveness.

Children are so eager to learn about themselves and how God made them. In some ages we used a cut out soul man and had them make one that they could identify with.  This is just one example of the different age appropriate ways I used to develop understanding to their soul. It’s kind of like filling their toolbox with the tools they will need to walk out their amazing callings.

As adult leaders from Nation to Nation we should all join together hand by hand and raise up the generation God put in front of us.

Psalm 127:3-4 “Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, like arrows in the hand of a warrior”.

There is not a border in the world that God’s love cannot break through. Our children will be part of carrying His love, lets be there for them.
